Nakoma Update

Nakoma had another follow-up check today, and Dr. Madison remains extremely pleased with the healing he’s seeing. She’s been cleared to start hand-walking. Again, while this recovery process has been slow, Dr. Madison reiterated that patience is the key and extra important because Nakoma is healing up so well—we don’t want to rush her to do too much too soon and reverse all the progress she’s already made.

Vekoma sired the impressive Chick Lang S. winner on Saturday at Pimlico, and that colt is bred on a version of the same Vekoma over Unbridled’s Song cross as Nakoma.
