Grand Traverse Bay ’20 breezed over the weekend at Raul Reyes’ King’s Equine Farm. Working on the outside of MyRacehorse stablemate, Daring Dancer ’20, Raul said that Grand Traverse Bay ’20 worked incredibly well this weekend. Raul added that Grand Traverse Bay ’20 has stood out as one of the better horses in training at the moment and is excited to see her continue on.
Grand Traverse Bay 20 continues to impress King’s Equine farm manager Raul Reyes each week. In discussing the filly’s progression, Raul said the filly is a picture of health, eats good, good minded, and keeps on asserting herself on the track. Raul added “she doesn’t know how much she was purchased for because she’s taking it to the million-dollar babies”. Grand Traverse Bay has now progressed to breezing quarter-miles with another eighth of a mile gallop out and should be ready to head to her trainer and circuit within the next 4-6 weeks.
Grand Traverse Bay ’20 is really coming along in her training at King’s Equine in Ocala, FL. Seen here galloping between fellow MyRacehorse stablemates, Rosie’s Alibi and Who Runs the World, Grand Traverse Bay ’20 has handled all of her lessons during training in stride, according to farm trainer Raul Reyes. Having completed a few two-minute licks (where each furlong is timed in 15-second intervals) as of now, the filly is very close to begin breezing. When asked about a timeline of when Grand Traverse Bay ’20 might head to the racetrack, Raul predicted her to go late-spring or early-summer.
