HORSE OVERVIEW
New York bred colt from the first crop of the exciting G1 winner by Violence, Volatile.
From the first crop of highly regarded Volatile (Violence), an $850K yearling himself who was one runner-up finish away from a perfect career, capped by a tally in the 2020 G1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt H. at the Spa. Volatile’s first yearlings proved popular among both end users and pinhookers, and his top sellers went for $1.15 million, $700,000 and $600,000. This grey colt is out of a stakes-placed, precocious mare whose first foal was a debut winner. As a somewhat later foal (Apr. 18), this colt remains a bit immature at this stage, but he’s got an excellent walk and plenty of upside.
Expected on track: Summer 2024
