HORSE OVERVIEW
New York bred filly by the sire responsible for the likes of champion sprinter Jackie’s Warrior; G1 Preakness S. hero Cloud Computing; and Grade 1 winners and promising young stallions Complexity and Drain the Clock. This filly was hand-selected by our highly successful racing partner, Reeves Thoroughbred Racing, who is best known for their Breeders’ Cup Classic win with Mucho Macho Man.
By the sire responsible for the likes of champion sprinter Jackie’s Warrior; G1 Preakness S. hero Cloud Computing; and Grade 1 winners and promising young stallions Complexity and Drain the Clock. The Reeves’ have had excellent recent success campaigning a New York-bred by Maclean’s Music–their Acoustic Ave was a 7 1/4-length debut winner at Saratoga last summer and reeled off three stakes wins that season for the Clement barn. This filly’s dam is by up-and-coming broodmare sire Warrior’s Reward, who was also responsible for the dams of 2022 G1 Champagne S. winner Blazing Sevens as well as Dec. 3’s G1 Matriarch S. heroine Surge Capacity. This Mar. 27 foal is very well built and athletic-looking.

Miss American Pie Follow Up
Miss American Pie reportedly came back in good order yesterday’s race. She did lose a front shoe, which definitely could’ve impacted her finish some. She scoped clean. Assistant trainer Miguel Clement also thought turf might be worth a try, so that’s likely what we’ll look to do next.
