The Clement barn reports that Miss American Pie exited yesterday’s debut sound and in good order. She earned a 57 Beyer Speed Figure–about what we would’ve expected for a New York-bred filly who finished where she did. The subsequent NYB dirt sprint MSWs for what will be 3-year-old fillies come up a bit quick in the next condition book, but we’ll let Team Clement see how she trains in the coming weeks and make that determination.
