Love Like Lucy Beyer Figure

Love Like Lucy earned a 61 Beyer Speed Figure for yesterday’s performance—the same number the winner of the boys’ version of the race, the Dr. Fager, earned. Obviously in the grand scheme of things that’s not a giant number, but is in the range of what you’d expect 2-year-old Florida-bred fillies to run and it’s not really a concern considering she’ll probably be competing among this same group of fillies for the time being. For more context, last year’s Susan’s Girl was won with a 68, while the third leg of the 2024 series—the $300K My Dear Girl—was won with just a 59.
